Allele Type: Targeted (Null/knockout) Mutations: Insertion, Intragenic deletion Mutation details: A floxed allele was inserted upstream of exon 3. An additional loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 3. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette and exon 3. Total PanK enzyme activity was reduced 30% in the liver and 90% in the brain. (J:189609)
