• Mutations: Insertion, Intragenic deletion
• Mutation details: A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 1 and a loxP site and FRT flanked neo cassette were inserted downstream of exon 6 via homologous recombination. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Cre mediated recombination removed exons 1 - 6. Analysis indicated the liver mRNA expression is absent in homozygous mice. (J:176732)
