Allele Type: Targeted (Null/knockout) Mutations: Insertion, Intragenic deletion Mutation details: An FRT-flanked neo cassette with a 5' loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 9. An additional loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 10. Cre-mediated recombination removed exon 9, exon 10, and the neo cassette. The absence of protein expression was confirmed by western blot analysis on cells from the peritoneal cavity. (J:174934)
