Targeted Allele Detail
Symbol: Snap25tm1.1Bark
Name: synaptosomal-associated protein 25; targeted mutation 1.1, Christina Bark
MGI ID: MGI:3821974
Gene: Snap25  Location: Chr2:136713453-136782428 bp, + strand  Genetic Position: Chr2, 67.56 cM
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:142096
Parent Cell Line:  Not Specified (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  Not Specified
Allele Type:    Targeted (Modified isoform(s))
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion
Mutation detailsExon 5b was replaced with the sequence for an additional exon5a. A floxed cre cassette used for selection purposes was inserted into intron 5 and removed by germ line, cre mediated recombination. The lack of B isoform mRNA was confirmed by semi-quantitative PCR while the overall protein expression level from this gene was slightly increased as determined by protein quantitation. (J:142096)
