Name: transgene insertion 56, Ernesto Bernal-Mizrachi
MGI ID: MGI:3811006
Synonyms: LSL-myr-Akt, pCALL2-caAkt
Transgene: Tg(CAG-lacZ,-Akt1*,-EGFP)56Ebm  Location: unknown
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:136227
Parent Cell Line:  R1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  (129X1/SvJ x 129S1/Sv)F1-Kitl+
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Conditional ready, Constitutively active, Inserted expressed sequence, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion
Mutation detailsThis transgene consists of a chicken beta-actin promoter with the upstream cytomegalovirus enhancer (pCAGGS) followed by a floxed lacZ neo fusion cassette with three SV40 poladenylation sites, a constitutively active form of Akt1 with an HA epitope, an IRES site, and enhanced GFP. Cre-mediated recombination allows for expression of the constitutively active Akt1 and EGFP. Two lines were generated (42 and 56) that both had strong homogeneous lacZ expression. This is a representative record for these two lines. (J:136227)
