• Mutation details: A modified human RCAN1 cDNA containing 4kb of upstream sequence, exon 1, exons 5-7, and the 3'-UTR was constructed. Five transgenic founders were produced. Transgenic mice express about 4 times as much protein as wild-type controls. Results reported are primarily for line M9 although M1 is reported to give similar results. (J:132495)
