Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsCre-mediated recombination was used to remove the floxed fragment containing a cDNA that encodes amino acids 219 to 376 and a neo cassette leaving behind a modified exon 7 with a stop codon and polyadenylation site. This removed the UIM domains from the protein. PCR genotyping was used to confirm the removal of the cDNA fragment and neo cassette. (J:126546)
