Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intergenic deletion

Mutation detailsA targeting construct was designed to insert a rearranged H chain of a physiologically selected ssDNA-binding antibody into the locus. The DQ52 and JH elements were deleted upon recombination. Flow cytometry demonstrated that 67% of heterozygous mice expressed only the mutant allele, and up to 31% expressed the endogenous allele exclusively. (J:71617)
