Parent Cell Line:  CJ7 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S1/Sv-Oca2+ Tyr+ Kitl+
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsA cassette containing lacZ, neo, and a t-Ace-cre construct was inserted in frame distal to the ATG. The t-Ace promoter allowed excision of the noe and cre during passage through the germ line. Northern blot of mutant testis demonstrated the presence of transcript and X-gal staining confirmed lacZ expression in the testis. (J:95119)
