• Mutation details: A gene trap vector containing flanking long terminal repeats, a splice acceptor, and Beta-geo fusion gene inserted 427 bp downstream of exon 1. Western blot of protein lysates indicated that no wild-type protein was present. Beta-galactosidase staining showed that expression of the mutant allele matched that of Cadh2 expression. (J:95209)
