Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:81009
Parent Cell Line:  R1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  (129X1/SvJ x 129S1/Sv)F1-Kitl+
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe gene was disrupted by replacement of exon 1 with a PGK-neo cassette via homologous recombination. Absence of gene expression was confirmed by RT-PCR analysis of day E14.5 homozygous mutant embryos. Primers directed against the metalloprotease, disintegrin, cysteine-rich, and cytoplasmic domains did not detect any gene expression. (J:81009)
