A genome wide scan using 69 markers was initiated to find loci responsible for tumor acceleration in mice. A total of 126 female mice from FVB/N females X (I/LnJ females X FVB/N-TgN(MMTVPyVT)^634mul males) F1 males were informative. A region of mouse Chromosome 15 was associated with an acceleration of tumorignensis in I/LnJ mice with a peak LOD score (3.3) near D15Mit184.
