Gene: Adora3  Location: Chr3:105904421-105908928 bp, + strand  Genetic Position: Chr3, 46.45 cM, cytoband F3
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:60293
Parent Cell Line:  E14TG2a (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129P2/OlaHsd
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion
Mutation detailsA neomycin selection cassette replaced a genomic fragment containing the initiation codon through sequences encoding the third transmembrane domain and the following intron. No transcript was detectable in northern blot analysis on RNA from bone marrow-derived mast cells (BMMCs) derived from homozygous mice. Binding assays confirmed the absence of protein from BMMCs derived from homozygous mice. (J:60293)
