Mutation details: A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 9. A floxed neomycin resistance cassette was inserted dowsntream of exon 9. Cre-mediated recombination removed exon 9 and the neomycin resistance cassette. RT-PCR confirmed the absence of transcript expression in the liver.
