ES cell line EB3/5 was derived from ES cell line E14TG2a. EB3/5 cells carry one allele of Pou5f1 that has been inactivated by targeted integration of E14TG2a ES cells with an IRESBSDpA selection cassette. J:140863 does not mention whether the null allele of Pou5f1 is also present in the line of mice created.
