Northern blot analysis showed the absence of Itga2b expression and presence of TK transcripts in the bone marrow of homozygous mutant animals. Immunoblot analysis using an antibody directed against human Itga2b confirmed absence of protein product in platelet extracts from homozygous mutant mice. (J:63961)
