Mice homozygous for a hypomorphic allele exhibit decreased body weight, facial dysmorphism with depressed nasal and zygomatic bones, dental asymmetry, malocclusion, vertebral defects, male infertility, and abnormal retinal pigmentation. Mice homozygous for a null allele die prior to E6.5.
