Nullizygous mutations cause impaired Ltb4-driven chemotaxis and adhesion. Homozygous null phenotypes include attenuated autoAb-driven arthritis, adoptive transfer-induced uveitis, airway hyperresponsiveness and Th2-type immune responses, and reduced eosinophil recruitment in induced peritonitis.
