Knockout mice exhibit normal growth and breeding but are protected from TAC-pressure overload and isoproterenol infusion-induced cardiac hypertrophy. A different KO reduces neutrophil levels and leads to resistance to DSS-induced colitis and increased susceptibility to diet-induced obesity.
