TS28: epiphyseal plate ossification zone perivascular cell Present Regionally restricted 1d Expression was detected at the chondro-osseous junction between the growth plate cartilage and metaphysis of the proximal tibia. Immunoreactive cells possess long processes extending toward the hypertrophic zone of the growth plate. Cathepsin B is a marker for these septoclasts/perivascular cells.
