Assay type: Immunohistochemistry
MGI Accession ID: MGI:5523272
Gene symbol: Nefm
Gene name: neurofilament, medium polypeptide
Antibody: anti-Neurofilament 145 (clone 3H11; MAB1621)
Detection system: Secondary antibody coupled to Cy2
Results
Specimen 1F/G: embryonic day 17.5 (more )
Note: Double labeled: green - Nefm; red - Gfap (assay MGI:5523273).
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS25: cerebral cortex Present Regionally restricted 1F , 1G The precallosal perforating pathway projects through the taenia tecta region, connecting the rostral medial septum and the diagonal band of Broca complex with the cingulate cortex.

Specimen 1H/I: embryonic day 17.5 (more )
Note: Double labeled: green - Nefm; red - Gfap (assay MGI:5523273).
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS25: cerebral cortex Present Regionally restricted 1I , 1H The callosal perforating pathway penetrates the genu of the corpus callosum, connecting the caudal medial septum and the diagonal band of Broca complex with the cingulate cortex. The axons make a sharp turn as they encounter the glial wedge.
