Mice were then crossed to Gt(ROSA)26Sor to produce mice with germline deletion of the frt flanked neomycin resistance cassette. These floxed mice (Cnn2tm1.1Jin) were then crossed with Tg(Zp3-cre)93Knw mice. Cre expression results in the germline excision of exon 2. These mice produce no protein product. (J:141867)
