Mutation details: Most of the gene was deleted by replacement of a 2.2 kb region containing the 5' untranslated region and 634 bp of coding sequences with a neomycin resistance cassette via homologous recombination. Homozygous mutant embryos were observed by PCR genotype analysis up to day E9.5. In situ hybridization did not detect gene expression in homozygous mutant embryos.
